Why Losing Your Fear Consciousness is Essential for Authors

My book Blocks essentially explains how all writer’s blocks are essentially life or karmic blocks that manifest themselves as the author “not-writing”.

Since I wrote the book, I’ve come across loads of people TOO with author’s block which is the creation of barriers to seeing a book which is already written not being published. I know both of these states intimately as I have been there and got the T-Shirt.

The reality is that there has never been a more abundant time to be an author – and a publisher for that matter. The Internet allows us to spread the word easily and there are now a myriad of ways to get published.

Not only can you self-publish and e-publish pretty much instantly but there are loads of new independents looking for titles that fit into their respective niches. They all hang out on Twitter too making a direct dialogue simple. The traditional, larger publishers are also on the look out for people who make waves (and take action) in the world of self-publishing.

Add to all of this the iPad, and all its undoubted clones, and the future for authors is bright indeed – see my Useful Links Mind Map for just some of the opportunities that abound.

Still, however, some people seem to think its hard to write and publish a book.

I was thrilled to come across an interview with Brandon Bays yesterday that summed all of this up much more eloquently than I have before – or indeed here. To learn more about this I also recommend reading her new book she wrote with Kevin Billet – Consciousness the New Currency

The trick to tapping into abundance for authors lies in losing your Fear Consciousness – to find out more, listen to the interview below.

Authors can now wake up to a new abundant publishing paradigm where your book virtually writes itself and your publisher (or publishing route) finds you.
