A really important asset you need as an author is a good interview. This can be done by text, audio or video.
Also, it can be done well before the book is published as useful pre-publicity material – or even to attract a publisher.
Like anything else, the more professionally it is done, the better it will reflect on you.
What makes an interview extra special though is having a really good interviewer who is skilled at getting the best out of you. Here’s what you should aim for:
1. Ensure they have read your book
2. They ask you about your motivation and back story for writing it
3. They find out the benefits the reader will get from reading it
I can’t think of a better way of showing how this is done than by letting you hear “one I did earlier”.
This interview with Jackie Walker relates to a free ebook I wrote on an improved way of goal setting – originally ‘broadcast’ on Radio Lightworker.
