 Writers' Block
By thebookwright, on January 12th, 2012
As many of you are aware, I was surprised as anyone by making the transition from bored IT consultant to specialist at removing writer’s block.
If this is new to you, I am not talking about simply getting creative juices flowing (which I also do) but also sometimes dealing with deep trauma and fears associated with the [...]

Before you get too excited, this is not me but a US-based author called John Locke.
He’s very cleverly written a book that described how he did it which itself I suspect will sell another million in less than that time.
I’ve just downloaded it for my iPad and it’s brilliant – brilliantly simple and brilliantly easy to [...]

I love it when a new author with a new mission and a new purpose emerges kind of from nowhere.
I am especially pleased when the author makes the transition from non-fiction to fiction author.

I’ve just woken up this morning and found my latest book has gone through the whole production process with O-books and has gone off to the printers!!

 Writers' Block

On one of my workshops recently, I had the great pleasure of meeting Penny Waite – who I learned was an EFT Coach and Practitioner.
A couple of months later, just before my new book, Blocks was published, I experienced my 1st EFT session and haven’t looked back since.
I was even more priviliged to have the session [...]
 Authors Tales

For some time now, I’ve noticed the world of publishing seems to be going through a transition similar to the one the music industry went through 10 years ago. Now downloads have taken over from CD’s, many artists and bands have become their own ‘record companies’ and post and sell their own music online.
There are three [...]

And why it’s different from writer’s block
When you get asked the same thing three times in the same month, you know it’s time to blog about it.
Last month, three different authors came to me with the same tale of woe. Either a publisher had not delivered what they said they would or had let them down [...]
